Dean is a publishing professional who brings over 40 years of experience to the Maverick team. He is the former Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). In this role, Dean was responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of marketing and sales strategies for ASHP’s publishing, drug information, membership, and meeting activities, both within the US and internationally.

Dean began his publishing career with W.B. Saunders, where he served in sales, marketing, acquisition editorial, and senior management roles. He continued in those roles at J.B. Lippincott prior to joining ASHP. He has extensive experience in print and digital formats and is known for his organizational, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
