The Researcher to Reader Conference has announced that Jayne Marks, Maverick’s Head of EMEA Business Development has been appointed to the Advisory Board for the 2025 Researcher to Reader Conference. 
Founded in 2016, R2R is a collaborative gathering that aims to be the premier forum for discussion of the international scholarly communications ecosystem, bringing knowledge from the researcher to the reader. It provides a unique forum for discussion of topics of importance to all stakeholders in scholarly publishing – researchers, librarians, funders, and publishers.
Jayne’s role in helping to manage the R2R workshop program over the past two years, combined with her extensive scholarly publishing experience, makes her a natural fit for the Advisory Board. She joined Maverick in January of 2022 and was promoted to Head of EMEA Business Development in March of 2024 where she has oversight for sales and strategic business development activities in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
She is a regular contributor to Maverick’s Insights blog where she has written extensively on topics such as open access, paper mills, and business strategy.
